 Incentive Professional Designation Coming To Canada: This fall, the Incentive Marketing Association Canada Council will introduce a new program developed by IMA US to allow a certification or an IP (Incentive Professionals) Designation for Canada. Individuals who pass the Principles of Results Based Incentive Program Design exam will receive an Incentive Professional (IP) designation. IP recipients can use the IP designation after their name, and this designation will be utilized in the IMA print and online directories. The program will be free to up to five individuals for each IMA CC member companies and a non-member price will be set. Course content will be provided through two education networking breakfasts in September and October, and participants will receive a CD with all materials contained on it. The exam will be the member’s responsibility. Details will be delivered both in the next newsletter and on the IMA Canada website as soon as arrangements are finalized.  Winleader Adds Brands, Launches New Products: The home health care category at Winleader is expanding with the addition of Vicks, Braun, Honeywell and Soft Heat brands. New product lines are being launched this month as well, including RCA LCD TVs and Skull Candy headphones. The company continues to grow, with two staff additions, one in the order department and another in the warehouse. With the additions and a software system upgrade, the company will be able to keep up with increased demand while maintaining a superior level of service.

 IMA Canada Continues To Brighten Lives Of Seriously Ill Children: In 2005, IMA Canada approached Starlight Children’s Foundation with a strong passion for Starlight’s mission of improving the quality of life of serious ill and hospitalized children. Five years and more than $10,000 dollars in donations later, IMA Canada continues to believe that children battling an illness deserve to smile and act like a kid again despite their daily struggles. In a letter to IMA Canada, Starlight Accounts Manager Allison Currie expressed the organization’s gratitude. “Thank you IMA Canada for choosing to support Starlight Children’s Foundation through your successful Annual Golf Tournament and thank you to all of the attendees and sponsors as your contributions have gone a long way. For 20 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life forchildren with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries by providing programs for hospitals, clinics, schools, support groups, community based locations, and healthcare centers that the foundation partners with worldwide. Collectively, Starlight’s programs benefit more than 200,000 Canadian children each year.
