Carol welcomes board members. Ingrid Gulliver from American Express Incentive Services and Eleisha Stevens from OC Tanner are new board members since our last elections.

2. 2009 Overview

  • We attended the National PPPC show in January. The booth was manned by a few different board members on each day. We shared a booth with other PPPC benefit partners. We handed out our flyers with our website on them to be used as a tool for distributors and suppliers. We also got some membership feedback.
  • We attended the Toronto TOPS Show hosted by the PPPC in September. We shared a booth with their other benefits partners. We handed out our brochure to distributors and to end users as an incentive learning tool. This show was very successful.
  • We hosted a Golf Tournament at Lionhead Golf and Country Club. It was a very successful golf tournament. Attendance was slightly down from the year before but we were still able to give a donation to the Starlight Children’s Foundation of $4000.00 this year.
  • The IMA Summit was held in Tucson Arizona from July 26-29, 2009. There were discussions on social media strategies, marketing and sales approaches for the 21rst century and becoming better world citizens. The sessions were received well by all.
  • The IMA CC hosted a Fall Education Session on Tuesday October 20th at the Residence by Marriott Toronto Airport. Louise Anderson CPIM came in to facilitate the event which was the first step in attendees obtaining their IP designations.
